2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid

You may not know this, but when Nissan and Toyota started there Hybrid technology back in 2002, they signed an agreement that they would share the technology. Today Toyota supplies Nissan with the Hybrid system and Nissan take care of the rest. With this relationship you would think the two companies would have vehicles that drive and act the same. This is the farthest from the truth, both companies hybrid vehicles drive totally different and the Altima is a wonderful five passenger sedan. You wouldn’t even know that it was a hybrid if it wasn’t for the no-sound city driving. One point everyone asks about when you mention electric vehicles or even hybrid, how far can you drive? Not realizing electric vehicles are for short distance driving and hybrid are for combined short and long distance driving. The Hybrid Altima will give you 600 miles of range on one tank of fuel. Now that is what I’m talking about, regular unleaded fuel and go 600 miles, Hybrids are starting to make sense to me.
